75002 Paris
Description
Has to be the best-known Irish pub in Paris. An institution in itself, varies from being extremely busy (impossibly so on Paddys night) to completely empty. As everywhere in Paris, suffers the problem of swings in the type of crowd: for a while it'll have a friendly, mixed, international crowd until it gets mobbed by young French guys not spending any money and trying it on with all the women. It's recently been through that phase and seems to be on an up. The live Irish music band on Sunday evenings is popular. Food upstairs at lunchtime, brunch on Sundays. Live sport on satellite TV (Sky & Eurosport). |
